Valentines Breakfast - Banners

I love banners, so it should be no surprise that I have put a few together for our Valentines Breakfast. Banners can be a cheap and easy way to add a festive decoration to any party.

Cupcake Liner Banner

What you will need:
string/twine
glue stick

How to make the banner:

Step 1 - flatten your cupcake liners
Step 2 - place your string/twine down the middle of your liner. Apply glue to one side.
Step 3 - gently fold your cupcake liner in half, lining up your edges.

Repeat until you have the desired length of cupcake liner banner.

Fringe Banner

What you will need:
crepe paper (we used the crepe paper rolls from Confetti Sunshine)
string/twine
hot glue gun

How to make the banner:
Step 1 - cup out sheets of crepe paper measuring 6 inches by 8 inches
Step 2 - fold your crepe paper sheet in half and cut upward stripes, about 3 inches upward a 1/4th an inch apart, along the unfolded edge. This will create your fringe.
Step 3 - unfold the sheet and place the string/twine and glue along the middle fold line. Gently fold back together.

Repeat until you have the desired length of fringe banner

Thanks for looking! Be sure and comeback tomorrow for our Valentines Breakfast Menu!
