I'm taking a break from Halloween today to share this after school snack picnic I put together a few weeks ago. My daughter is so happy at the fact that she has cousins close by now since our move. We've been grabbing all the chances we can to hang out with them.
So, when we found out that Nana was going to be picking up all the cousins for an afternoon, we thought we'd put together a pretty little printable "after school snack" to pack full of some fun food for an afternoon picnic in the warm autumn air.
To pack up our after school snack, we used party supplies I readily keep in my party closet - adorable little berry baskets, glassine bags, washi tape (of course), and a cute checkered basket liner to wrap up the sandwich. I then designed some cute little printables to match - a banner name tag, juice box wrap, and sandwich label.
The little picnic was easy to put together, and delightful for the kids to snack on. I included all the favorite after school snacks - sandwich, chips, juice, and a sweet little autumn treat (candy corn).
I love just celebrating the small things in life, such as a surprise weekday afternoon with cousins!
